Valley of Life Earrings

Dry, rugged mountains. Lush agricultural terraces. Little villages nestled into the hillsides. And the Vilcanota River winding its way through it all.

The Sacred Valley is a beautiful meeting of contrasts, where water makes life possible in an otherwise arid mountain landscape. For thousands of years, Andean communities have cultivated these slopes through sophisticated agricultural practices, including terraces and irrigation systems that continue to shape the valley today.

I love how visibly connected everything feels here. The mountains, the water, the soil, the crops, and the communities who tend them. Each playing a part in the abundance of the whole.

Inspired by the warm earth and fertile landscapes of the Sacred Valley, these long, flowing weavings bring together soft ivory, terracotta, and little touches of gold.

Part of the Sacred Valley collection, created with appreciation for the land and its living Quechua cultures.

Hand-woven with high-quality Miyuki glass beads, natural thread, and 18K gold-plated sterling silver (925) earwires. Only the good stuff. :)

25% of proceeds from this pair are donated to Wiñaypaq Intercultural School, supporting free, culturally rooted education for children in Peru's Sacred Valley.
