Golden Harvest Earrings

The Sacred Valley has been an agricultural heartland for centuries, and the abundance growing within its rugged mountain landscape is pretty remarkable. Maize in all kinds of beautiful colors, potatoes of seemingly endless varieties, quinoa, herbs, and fruits… all cultivated through generations of knowledge about the land, its seasons, and the relationships that sustain a harvest.

I especially love the colorful ears of maize hanging to dry, a familiar sight in the valley and a little reminder of the rich agricultural heritage of the Andes.

Inspired by the golden hues of ripening crops and sun-warmed earth, these petite weavings bring together warm orange, soft ivory, and little touches of green and gold. A celebration of good food, fertile land, and the many hands and generations of wisdom that nourish us.

Part of the Sacred Valley collection, inspired by my travels through the Peruvian Andes, with gratitude for the land and its living Quechua cultures.

Hand-woven with high-quality Miyuki glass beads, natural thread, and 18K gold-plated sterling silver (925) earwires. Only the good stuff. :)

25% of proceeds from this pair are donated to Wiñaypaq Intercultural School, supporting free, culturally rooted education for children in Peru's Sacred Valley.
