Ayni Earrings

$75.00

Ayni is a Quechua word often translated as reciprocity, though its meaning extends far beyond the simple exchange of giving and receiving. It's an understanding that life is sustained through relationships, mutual care, and the recognition that what we receive also carries a responsibility to give.

Throughout the Sacred Valley, this wisdom finds expression in the relationships between people, communities, and the natural world. From tending the land and sharing harvests to making offerings in gratitude, reciprocity is woven into many aspects of Andean life.

This pair brings together soft ivory, warm peach, and earthy greens in a delicate, flowing design. Inspired by my time among the people and landscapes of the Sacred Valley, and the beautiful reminder that our lives are part of something much greater than ourselves.

Part of the Sacred Valley collection, created with appreciation for the land and its living Quechua cultures.

Hand-woven with high-quality Miyuki glass beads, natural thread, and 18K gold-plated sterling silver (925) earwires. Only the good stuff. :)

25% of proceeds from this pair are donated to Wiñaypaq Intercultural School, supporting free, culturally rooted education for children in Peru's Sacred Valley.
